Welcome to South Africa. This 9-day journey will take you through Cape Town, Cape Peninsula, the wine region of Stellenbosch and the iconic Kruger National Park in search of the Big 5! Enjoy morning wellness activities, hiking up to Table Mountain, kayaking around Boulder's Beach to visit the South African penguins at Boulder Beach and multiple wine farm visits in Stellenbosch. The highlight of your trip will be at the end during a three-night stay at Mdluli Safari Lodge where your luxury tents are located inside Kruger National Park. Each morning and evening, you will search for many of the locals animals such as Rhinos, Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards. Enjoy this trip of a lifetime!

Day 1

Cape Town

Welcome to Cape Town, the oldest city in South Africa and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a private transfer to your hotel where you will start your experience of a lifetime.
Tonight, is at your leisure to experience your well-appointed hotel, and have a taste of the local South African fare.

Day 2

Cape Town

After a leisurely breakfast, your day will start with a Table Mountain hike from the lower cable station on Taffelklip Gorge. You will experience jaw dropping photo opportunities of the iconic front face of the mountain and its imposing cliffs as we trail up a beautiful deep ravine. After a brief city tour which highlight areas such as The Cape Castle, City Hall, and Malay Quarter, we conclude our day at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. This opportunity includes a walk above the trees on the Tree Top Canopy, a snake skeleton inspired walkway also known as “The Bookslang”.
After returning to your hotel to freshen up, we head out for dinner at The Alba Restaurant. The Alba, a first of its kind and the only fine dining restaurant boat in Cape Town will take guests on a tour through the fishing industry and yacht harbor in the V&A Waterfront. Expect breathtaking views of the Cape Town skyline from the fully glass-enclosed restaurant boat, including sights like Table Mountain and the sparkling lights of the harbor at night.

Day 3

Cape Town

This morning we set off for Cape Peninsula where we will experience the sparkling water of the Atlantic Ocean and feel the spray of salt water on your face. Using easy to paddle, two person kayaks, we will explore the crystal waterways of this fascinating area. Enjoy the views of the rocky pools and enjoy the warmth of the sun on your shoulders as you view the penguins waddling over the rocks and gliding through the water! After drying off we visit the Cape of Good Hope section of Table Mountain National Park. This area is an integral part of the world-renowned Cape Floral Kingdom, and a photographer's dream!
Our last stop will be sure to leave you will your adrenaline pumping! Our Zipline Adventure starts high in the mountains and slowly descends down the slopes offering the most amazing panoramic views of Cape Town and surrounds you with indescribable flora and fauna. 
After returning to the hotel for a few hours at leisure, we will end our day with a culinary experience at Pigalle Restaurant.

Day 4

Cape Town - Stellenbosch

After a leisurely breakfast this morning, you will be met for your transfers to the magical Cape Wineland for an unforgettable wine “Safari”.
The Wine Drive Safari is a unique three-hour trip on a safari-type vehicle, through the 120-hectare estate on the beautiful slopes of the Helderberg mountain. This experience allows the chance to taste the award-winning estate wines among the vineyards of their origin and will be expertly guided through all the aspects of what makes this area so biologically diverse and unique. The wine tasting will be accompanied by various light snacks, which are well suited to pair with the individual wines. The experience will culminate with the Wine and Chocolate Tasting, back at the winery.
Upon check in at the hotel, enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening on the property grounds.

Day 5

Stellenbosch

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and morning at the hotel where you can rent bikes and enjoy the amenities or do a wellness activity with other travelers.
Once refreshed, you will start you wine tasting at Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate. Visit the duck parade together with a working flock of more than 1,200 Indian Runner Ducks on the farm.
Enjoy lunch at leisure on their farm before continuing to Vredenheim. This farm is approximately 328 years old and one of the oldest wine estates in the Stellenbosch area of the Cape Winelands. Winemaking is a time-honored tradition at Vredenheim, steeped in history. Owner Elzabé Bezuidenhout was the first female winemaker in the Stellenbosch Wine Route, making her first wine in 1987.
Your last tasting will take place at Thandi farm. Thandi produces five ranges of wine: Reserve Range (Cabernet Sauvignon), Premium Range (Chardonnay, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz), Pioneer Range (Chardonnay/Chenin Blanc, Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz/Rose, Sparkling Rose, Sparkling Red, and Sparking White), Rossouw Private Collection (Merlot/Cabernet and Pinotage) and JAC Range (Pinotage, Red Blend and Shiraz).
After the tastings, you will have a chance to freshen up at the hotel before enjoying dinner this evening at Tokara Restaurant.

Day 6

Stellenbosch- Kruger National Park

After Breakfast at the hotel we will transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport .
Upon arrival in Kruger, we will check in at the Mdluli Safari Lodge for the last 3 nights of our unforgettable South African experience.
The lodge is home to luxury air-conditioned, en-suite tents, each featuring a private patio and outdoor shower. Guests can expect to indulge in delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with the option of enjoying a group dining experience in the Boma. Facilities include a swimming pool, rock pool, a gym and spa, as well as a restaurant and bar overlooking the river. Activities available for guests to partake in include traversing in open game vehicles and guided Big Five bush walks.
After check in, freshen up before we set out for a sunset safari.

Day 7

Kruger National Park

Early morning tea and coffee is what the beginning of the day will entail followed by a game drive. After your game drive a well-deserved breakfast will be served at the lodge. The rest of your day is at leisure for wellness activities and relaxation. Join us late in the afternoon for our continuous pursuit of the Big Five on a sunset game drive followed by an evening at leisure.

Day 8

Kruger National Park

Start you morning off with tea and coffee before departing for a morning game drive. Upon return, breakfast will be served at the lodge. The rest of the day is at leisure for wellness activities, individual exploration and relaxation. Join us late in the afternoon for a game drive and sunset before enjoying your evening at leisure.

End of Itinerary

Enjoy your last game drive of the journey before returning to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast.

Day 1

Cape Town

Welcome to Cape Town, the oldest city in South Africa and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a private transfer to your hotel where you will start your experience of a lifetime.

Day 2

Cape Town

After a leisurely breakfast, your day will start with a Table Mountain hike from the lower cable station on Taffelklip Gorge.
